It's a myth that they travel with suitcases; they travel in a special pressurized compartment, with temperature control and dim lighting, sharing the same atmosphere as the passenger cabin. We work exclusively with airlines that follow the strictest IATA (International Air Transport Association) protocols for animal welfare, ensuring a safe and peaceful journey.
Every trip is unique, so there's no fixed cost. The final price is an investment in peace of mind and depends on several factors: the travel route, the size and weight of your pet (which determines the kennel size and airfare), the health requirements of the destination country, and the airline selected. The best way to get an accurate price is to request your free, personalized travel plan. This way, we'll provide you with a detailed, transparent quote with no surprises.
Ideally, you should start planning as far in advance as possible. For destinations like Madrid (European Union), we recommend starting the process at least 3 to 4 months before your trip. This is due to strict requirements such as microchip application, rabies vaccination, and mandatory waiting periods. For other destinations, a minimum of 1 to 2 months is advisable. If you have less time, please contact us immediately to discuss urgent options.
Generally, pets aren't allowed on long-haul international flights like the one from Peru to Madrid. Airlines only allow very small animals in the cabin (usually less than 8 kg, including the carrier), and many destination country regulations require pets to arrive as manifest cargo for official veterinary and customs inspection. Our service ensures that, even if they aren't traveling with you, they do so with the highest standards of safety and well-being.
